To spend my hours with

Last night we worshiped with Chris Tomlin and Christy Nockels at Passion City Church in Atlanta! ♥ God spoke to our hearts through the speaker so clearly. He had us think about what we spend time doing and then he said normally what you spend your time doing you talk and think about. If I'm wasting 5 hours on e-mail, my phone, facebook, tv and so forth thats what I'm going to talk about. What if we spent that time instead reading the word for 5 hours or pray for 5 hours. What would our thoughts and daily conversations look like with people. It's my desire to share Gods love and his desire for us to be his children in his kingdom. Though, if my thoughts are fixed on other things I will less likely to bring up God in my conversations or even think about him in my mind. It's my challenge for myself and you to think about what we are doing and thinking throughout our day.

Second, I just have to say that my God is soooo big. We just picked up our new team member Julia and the couple that she is staying with is connecting us with so many leaders and maybe a future team member for this trip. One of the connections is 12 stone church in georgia. God is doing some big things. I can't describe them to you adequately. When God wants something to happen he makes it happen.

Also, God has been providing my team with amazing hospitality. Not only are they providing us hospitality, but such Godly wisdom along the way. I am so excited for the adventure ahead that God has in store for our hearts!

We are in Georgia

Can I tell you I have fallen in love with Savannah Georgia! I don't think I have ever maveled over a place so much! Yesterday, we met up with a group for Savannah College of Art and Design. It was so awesome to see how the Lord connected us with them and their hearts for the issue of human trafficking! God amazes me so much!
After we met up with them we went to this fun restraunt with our new friend william. After lunch we walked around downtown Savannah. We went in this amazing shop I think called Paris Market. My eyes lit up in there with all the vintage finds. Especially with a whole display of old fashioned cameras. The scenery was just beautiful! We also went to a beautiful park. I wish I could be here this summer to read a book in the park or ride my bike around. Who knows maybe I'll move here :) Life is great and my God is Glorious!

The Lord Moves!

The Lord allowed us to move North today! Just a couple more days and we will be out of Florida. :) We traveled to Gainesville to speak at the University of Florida today. We set up our materials in a beautiful park on campus today called plaza of the Americas. Our hearts were so expectant to see how God was going to move throughout the day. We were able to connect with a (student) journalist who interviewed us, a leader of campus crusade, and a many students who had no idea that this was an issue in the United States. It's so awesome to see the way God moves. We were even blessed to stay with a group called Studio 31:8 who recently provided their artwork for our auction in December. Tomorrow we will head to UNF in Jacksonville. We are so excited to see all the ways God is going to move tomorrow and the rest of the trip.
To God I give all the glory and praise for the ways he moves our hearts!

Praise the Lord for our vehicle!

Praise the Lord! We just got a call that Noel's family friend is letting us borrow their vehicle for 3 months! My God is bigger than any ways satan tries to hault our mission trip! I'm so glad this happened b/c it allowed us to take a step back as to why we are going on this trip. This trial made us put all our trust in the Lord and remember that we must fix our eyes on him first throughout this trip! My God is so aMaZiNg! He is so faithful! I love my God and this verse Romans 1:17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

If we are Gods children than as it is written we shall live by faith!

Having Joy in the Trials

Speaking in lakeland was awesome this week! We spoke to a youth group and it was awesome to see how they responded. While we were heading up to Lakeland our mechanic called and told us that our engine blew on our van. Right now my team and I are back in Stuart trying to figure out our van situation. It seems like we have been getting hit with a lot of trials lately, which means we must be doing something right if the enemy is attacking us.

James 1:2-7 says:
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

We are totally put our trust in God on this trial. There is nothing we can do to fix the issue, but God is wiser than us and totally has his hand in the situation. If we don't find a car soon then we will drastically downsize and take Noel car.

Keep praying for us!

Love you guys!

RTS JOURNEY WEEK 1

Hi guys! God has been doing amazing things this week! I just jumped on tour this week with Redeem the Shadows. Sunday I had my first speaking engagement. I would not call myself a public speaker, but I know that where I am weak God is strong. It was so amazing to see him speak threw me. Normally my heart is pounding and I freeze on what to say, but I gave my speech to him and he provided me words as I knew he would.

Today is national human trafficking awareness day so Anna and I drove south to speak at FAU. God really moved on the campus there! So, many people were unaware that this happened and were really thankful we educated them.

Right now Redeem The Shadows is going threw it's first trial. Our van is in the shop because there is a leak somewhere.. where we don't know. but we ask you to pray with us and speak life over our van in Jesus name!

I'm so excited to start traveling north and seeing all God has in store!

check out our new website at
www.redeemtheshadows.org

and below I am attaching our tour route. let us know if you have friends in the area where we could rest our speak.

God bless!
